Amusing LJ!

peacetraveler22 — 09.08.2014 Yesterday another blogger decided to write a post about me. I won't mention his name here to draw further attention to the nonsense, but one comment to the post was particularly interesting:

"Пользователь peacetraveler22 не американка, а вероятнее всего гуская беженка. Тексты в его/ее блоге написаны не на амерыкэн-инглиш. Причем настолько не амерыкэн-инглиш, что oн/она даже не могёт имитировать. Брайтон Бичь - наше всё, бггг.."

Now I'm a refugee Jew in Brighton Beach! :)) How do people come up with such nonsense? The main question is why do so many people comment that my style of writing is not typical American English? I think it's a real curse to be mentioned in another blog, or even to make it to TOP LJ. Such attention draws a huge influx of trolls, which suddenly made their way to my last post. So I wish to thank my normal, dedicated readers for their civility and insight. Most often people are respectful here, even in the face of ideological disagreements. If I had to deal with the troll invasions on a frequent basis, I would probably leave LJ forever.
