Overview
We are seeking a Mobile Dev Test Engineer to join our mobile identity service solutions team. The successful candidate should be able to write simple mobile applications to integrate and test our mobile solutions framework. He or she will implement QA methodology, interact with the Product and Development teams, and internal stakeholders to create relevant documentation: test plans, test cases and test results, contributing to the overall superior quality of the product. The candidate should have a strong technical background and a relevant understanding of emerging mobile and internet technologies, web development and web services.
Primary Responsibilities
Produce fully functional mobile applications to test third party libraries and APIs (Android/iOS)
Test the integration and administrative functions of a mobile identity platform and other services EnStream offers
Work with the product, development, operations, marketing and customer service teams to review business process, understand product features and associated functionality, product promotional content and identify test effort
Participate in requirements walkthroughs and analyze requirements
Develop new and, or enhance existing test artifacts, including: test strategy, test plan, test cases, test data
Participate in the creation of, and contribute to the test plan for a specific release or project
Lead and, or participate in test plan and test case reviews within the team or, with members of the product and development teams
Estimate test effort
Identify, mitigate and communicate test and QA risks
Report defects and follow through resolution lifecycle
Participate in and contribute to defect tracking sessions during test phases
Ensure test results are documented and presented to project stakeholders
Analyze, provide analysis and input to resolve defects that may occur in the released application
Adhere to, and ensure deadlines are met as defined by the Manager / PMO
Communicate status on test planning and execution to QA Manager for individual projects, assignments
Produce documentation of cross functional process flows, if none exist
Participate in all phases of the project life cycle and promote Quality Assurance's best practices and standards.





Skills and Experience
An undergraduate degree in Computer Science or Engineering or recognized equivalent is required
1 - 3 years’ experience developing mobile applications on both Android and iOS (Swift/Objective C)
1 - 3 years’ experience with manual, functional and regression testing
Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
Experience in testing Android and iOS platforms
Experience with automated testing tools (Selenium, Appium would be a plus)
Knowledge of SQL and database concepts would be an asset
Excellent analytical skills with good problem-solving attitude
In-depth understanding of Quality Assurance processes and methodologies
Practical experience and knowledge of Agile or similar iterative, short cycle methodology
Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision
Good documentation and communication (verbal and written) skills
