Richard ‘Free’ Stallman lecture in Yerevan: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

Richard ‘Free’ Stallman lecture - The Good, the Bad and the Ugly
The Good
(it seems this posts screws layout a little bit - ignore that :)
First of all, it is great that Mr. F. Stallman visited our country and gave lectures. I hope this will open some ways to more speakers from abroad to come and present their ideas to Armenian audience.
It is also great that he speaks more about ethics and moral aspects than about purely technical things.
At least this doesn’t harm.
It seems as thought nobody told Mr. F. Stallman that he would speak in front of an audience full of Napoleons and such selfish people as we, Armenians, can be :).
The Bad
Well, after the first hour I could say - “Mr. F. Stallman, you’ve become boring!”. It was like listening to a sermon about our freedom. I saw several people snoozing in there and I also practically fell asleep while Mr. F. Stallman was dancing to Armenian music :)
Also it seems that Gnus has a problems with Penguins and Gnus are offended when penguins make lunch of 2.6.x tuxes, without mentioning the horned cattle.
The Ugly
It turned out that ‘There is no editor but Em-cs and Mr. F. Stallman is its messenger‘.
Well, I always hated that bloated pig with great ambitions that has a finger in every task. I’m still speaking about the emacs, you know.
That lisp machine with built-in editor can even make you a coffee, but those scripts are kept top secret until now. (Hidden message: Use VIM! )
Another point is that I envy Mr. F. Stallman’s well trained abs. Let me explain.
Usually a man gets this after working too many years in front of computer:
But Mr. F. Stallman managed to get that one - pretty well trained football ball :)
But despite of all those we had a great lecture and great evening today :)
