IT Manager
As the company’s sole IT Manager, reporting to VP R&D, you will be responsible for the entire production environment of our SaaS platform, servicing fortune 500 companies. You and your team will also be responsible for all corporate IT related activities, servicing two offices in Israel and the US.
Responsibilities:
Hands-on management of the production environment which is based on Linux, Oracle RAC, various Java related components and storage devices, operated in a managed service environment
Lead all production related activities, including system maintenance, new versions deployment, future expansion planning, etc., while interacting with both internal and external stake holders
Hands on management of the company’s corporate IT activities, supporting workspace environment of 50+ employees, corporate servers, storage and network infrastructure
Plan and manage multiple virtual environments running on Xen Server 5.5 and supporting our day-to-day development activities.
Budget planning and control. Contractors’ relation management, purchasing, negotiation etc.
Requirements:
At least 1 year of working experience with hands-on management of high-availability, 24x7, mission critical production environment
Web based service or SaaS platform experience
Experience in managing a system team
Experience with Linux system administration (RHEL/CENTOS)
Experience in deploying Java applications, live-system updates and upgrade
knowledge of Apache configuration, management and maintenance
Experience working with Jboss/Tomcat/Jabber servers – a significant advantage
Experience in hands on Windows administration (2003 and 2008/ Exchange 2010) and network management – preferred.
Experience with firewall, load balancer and network equipment management - Preferred.


Senior Java Developer:
The Java Developer will design, implement and maintain front-end and back-end components of the company's web and server-side applications.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with the product team, writing technical specifications and delivering a complete solution.
Take the product from the technical requirements phase through development, deployment, maintenance and upgrades.
Take ownership/lead all technical areas and ensure that the software satisfies all requirements, completed on time, and can be easily maintained.
Work closely with the Group leader and the rest of the engineering team, to ensure that company coding standards are met.
Participate in the evaluation and selection of new strategies and technologies, while enforcing standards and best practices.
Contribute to an atmosphere of cross-functional teamwork within the organization’s Agile project lifecycle.
Required Skills:
At least 4 years of experience in developing java applications
Excellent understanding of J2SE
Strong objects design skills. Ability to design domain modeling based on use-cases defined requirements
Deep architectural understanding of Java based web applications (including good knowledge of application and web servers)
Very good knowledge in leading technologies like Spring, Hibernate, SQL, JSP, etc.
Exceptional creativity and innovative problem-solving skills
Initiative and eagerness
Ability to work independently and as a team member
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of standard front end technologies like CSS, JavaScript, REST, JSON, AJAX, FLASH
Knowledge of open source libraries, tools and frameworks. The more the merrier!
Hands-on experience with Maven
Experience with agile software development methodologies (like Scrum)
