Про истерику. Про нового посла США в Израиле.

yakov_a_jerkov — 19.12.2016 Прочитал статью на Воксе -- "Trump's pick for Israel ambassador thinks liberal Jews are "worse" than Nazi collaborators".

Вынесенный в заголовок факт меня не сильно напугал. Сам Фридман, будущий посол США в Израиле, объясняет свою позицию в этой статье так:

Finally, are [American pro-peace lobby] J Street supporters really as bad as kapos? The answer, actually, is no. They are far worse than kapos – Jews who turned in their fellow Jews in the Nazi death camps. The kapos faced extraordinary cruelty and who knows what any of us would have done under those circumstances to save a loved one? But J Street? They are just smug advocates of Israel’s destruction delivered from the comfort of their secure American sofas – it’s hard to imagine anyone worse.

Для меня тут акцент на том, что, действительно, сидя на secure American sofas, не стоит демонизировать людей, которые faced extraordinary cruelty.

Хотя, все равно, конечно, сравнивать либеральных евреев с евреями, которые turned in their fellow Jews in the Nazi death camps, -- это какой-то идиотизм. Не потому, что эти "kapos" так ужасны, а потому, что либеральные евреи ж ни в какие Nazi death camps fellow евреев сдавать не хотят.

О, кстати... Написал я это и подумал: можно ли сказать, что Фридман писал про нацистские лагеря смерти в истерике? Я знаю, в ЖЖ много специалистов, способных диагностировать истерику по одной фразе.

(Кстати, статью эту Фридмана я полностью не прочел. Может там еще что-то интересное, не знаю.)

Зато я прочитал вот эту статью того же Фридмана -- Learn a lesson from Russia:

Russia is going to defeat ISIS. Not with a “coalition” of cowards, freeloaders and hypocrites led from behind by the American president, but all by itself. It will bomb ISIS strongholds, train and arm Syrian soldiers and destroy ISIS resistance until the Islamic State surrenders (unlikely) or ceases to exist (let’s hope).
And, when Russia defeats ISIS, it will have accomplished something that the United States hasn’t done since 1945 nor Israel since 1973: win a war.

Governor Mike Huckabee had one of the most memorable quotes of a very memorable series of Republican primary debates. He referred to war as “killing people and breaking things,” that continues until the loser gives up or is destroyed. For thousands of years, that’s what war has been about. Almost every national boundary in both hemispheres has been formed as a result of a battle followed by a surrender.

Вот как так получается, что какого "правого" из этой новой волны ни возьми, он оказывается пророссийским паразитом? И вот эти ребята сейчас будут у власти на Западе...
