lx_photos — 11.10.2020 Как сообщает нам одна большая компания, при демонтаже топливных форсунок камеры сгорания двигателя GEnx от Boeing-787 отмечены случаи срезания винтов их крепления из-за прикипания.




И для исключения казуса надо побрызгать жижкой на места винтов, подождать два часа размокнуть. Потом стронуть винты, побрызгать ещё раз на резьбу, завернуть. Подождать ещё полчасика, и только потом выламывать форсунки ломом.

To avoid the bolts shearing, General Electric (GE) has released a special procedure for removal of these bolts. Important in this process is the use of a penetrating oil in a specific manner. Prior to loosening the four Fuel Nozzle attachment bolts this penetrating oil (according AMM specifications) has to be sprayed on the bolt heads and left soaking for approximately two hours.
Thereafter, loosen one of the bolts one full turn, spry again some penetrating oil and turn the bolt back down. Repeat this in sequence for the other three bolts, one in a time. Leave the penetrating oil soaking for a further 30 minutes.
Then the bolts will come out pretty easily. After removing the fuel line fittings and brackets, if applicable, the Nozzle can be drawn from the engine by rotating it approximately 90 degrees.
It may be obvious the opening in the engine must be covered to prevent anything falling down into the combustion case.
