In my treasure chest!

Те, кто следят за моими отчетами в Инстаграме уже имели возможность познакомиться с моим новым любимцем- колье формы коралла, покрытого голубой эмалью. Оно было куплено в крошечном магазинчике в Бруклине. Безымянное. А "зуб" уже много лет является в числе фаворитов, это дизайн моей хорошей подруги Erica Pena (www.ericapena.com) и нет образа, в который это украшение не вписалось бы.



Those of you following me on Instagram already had a chance to get introduced to the new favorite of mine- the blue enamel coral necklace. It was bought a months or so ago at a local Brooklyn shop. No name. The Tooth has been my favorite for many years. My very talented friend Erica Pena (www.ericapena.com) designed it many years ago and I am yet to find an outfit this gem won't look good with!

Мои самые любимые украшения всегда антикварные или винтажные. Это колье от Weiss я купила у японской пары на блошке Brooklyn Flea. Их магазин, Brooklyn Bug, просто изумителен и один он стоит визита в дебри Бруклина. Мне было очень сложно уйти из Brooklyn Bug и я била себя по рукам, чтоб не купить еще 2 украшения. Серьги с того же рынка, но нашла я их у другого продавца и изначально они не являлись частью комплекта, но разве не идеальны они вместе?

My most treasured jewels are almost always vintage or antique. I bought this antique glass necklace from Weiss from a Japanese couple at the Brooklyn Flea. Their store, Brooklyn Bug, is simply amazing and is worth a trip just for that! I could barely walk away from it and almost bought 2 more items. The earrings come from the same flea market and are not part of this necklace, but aren't they perfect together?

А вот в это антикварное серебряное блюдо я временно сбрасываю с себя украшения по вечерам, когда нет сил убирать их в бархатные мешочки, где они обычно хранятся.  Заметно, что в последнее время я много гуляю.

And this antique silver bowl is where I shed my jewelry pieces at night, when I have no energy to put them away in the various velvet bags, where they are usually kept.  As you can tell, I have been going out a lot lately.
