My list consisted of:

● Two slabs of 24 cans of Morrisons cider which cost me €16.25 each instead of €41.66 in the south;
● 18 cans of 440ml Magner priced at €15.05 instead of the southern price of €28.12;
● Two slabs of 24 cans of 500ml Coors Light priced at €28.30 instead of €37.87;
● Two slabs of 24 cans of 568ml Heineken at €41.93 each instead of €53.78;
● 40 300ml bottles of Amstel at €24.10 instead of €38.82;
● 12 pint bottles of Magners at €14.99 instead of €24.20;
● And 24 500ml cans of Hackenberg beer at €39.67 instead of €47.34.

To my delight, when my shopping was put through the till, the total amounted to €269.82 or £223.96.
If these purchases were made in the south, under the minimum unit pricing, the total would have equated to €405.10 — which gave me whopping savings of €135.26.
