dushainusa68 — 10.09.2010 Tomorrow marks the ninth anniversary of one of the most tragic events in American history. On September 11, 2001, the United States of America was attacked by terrorists who hijacked planes and flew them both into both planned and unplanned targets in New York City, Washington, D.C., and rural Pennsylvania. Today, we remember the victims of these senseless acts of violence. We extend thoughts of peace and comfort to their families. We hope that our world will never know such devastation and anguish again. Please take a moment to remember. It is times like these that many of us may wonder, "What can I do to make the world a better place? I am just one person." Our world is vast and evolving. It is natural for each of us to feel powerless to change it. However, I would like to argue that we, Kingsview Middle School community, can make a difference. We can stand together as a community that respects and embraces diversity, a community that models acceptance, a community that personifies friendship. We can show the world what it looks like when we cast aside our petty disputes and practice acts of kindness.
Thank you for being part of our wonderful community and making a difference!
